In the second episode of Mage Wars Mondays we talk all about the master of dark arts the Necromancer. What are your favorite Necromancer tactics / opening?

I’m going to be a bit negative here, but I think that your content can be improved. It’s all very superficial. We all know which cards are awesome and why. Talk more about the less obvious choices and strategies. The bit about the melee necromancer caught my attention, but I was over in no time. I’d also like to hear things like “the meta” and about cards you consider bad and cards you would use despite being triple cost. The podcast needs some originality. I hope it’ll be better in two weeks.
Despite this, I think you’re great for doing this. I really look toward how this podcast will develop.
I wouldn’t worry about sounding too negative. I appreciate any and all feedback for the show. This is something that we will smooth out as the next few sessions are recorded. We are still getting our feet wet in terms of being a broadcasting team. I agree with most of your points, but would also like to point out that it is important to focus on generalities (somewhat) as well so that we don’t skip over any content for the new players
The next episode was recorded around the same time and focuses over our favorite Beast Master pets, there should be some content there that you will find ‘fresh’. Hopefully it will give you more to chew on and I’ll definitely make an effort to provide more insight in the future! Thanks again.
I agree with Anom to an extent.
That said, my hope/expectation would be that these first 5 or 6 episodes would be fairly surface level, as a primer for newer players. I’m hoping that after that, the episodes might be a bit more crunchy.

what i’m gonna remember is the part of the plague zombie…the combo with the sac altar is just too good. After hearing this, i immediately went to my necro spellbook and replaced a zombie minion with the plagued zombie. i’m imagining using this combo, with a beefed up zora, and the plagued zombie : attack with PZ, sac it afterwards and attack next turn with zora at +2 melee and +2 pierce..Awesome !!!!!!
